I first encountered it in South Island, New Zealand where I attended an inspirational workshop. On my return to Edinburgh, I followed courses at the College of Art and in Newburgh, Fife. I have never looked back...
Wool. Silk. Beads. Buttons. Ribbons. Driftwood. Felt can include all of these and more. It can be wearable, functional or decorative...and often all three.
In my studio, I create collections of scarves, bags, corsages, wall hangings and framed pieces...all reflecting the versatility of felt. Whether you buy my work in a gallery or a boutique, you can be guaranteed that there is no other piece like it. And if you don't see quite what you want, then I am always delighted to take on commissions.
