Scottish Felters Summer School, Dunblane
At the end of July, Heather was delighted to be able to teach a 2-day workshop with the Scottish Felters on their Summer School in Dunblane. It was a very successful, enjoyable workshop with great results (some of the participants are pictured below) and very encouraging feedback. Thanks to everyone involved in a great week.
Sculptural Neckwear
Three words to describe this workshop: professional, creative and VFM! Value for money is important to most of us especially the retired non working amongst us. Paying for a workshop with someone you don't know requires a leap of faith.
I must credit Heather with a thorough and illuminating two days including a first day of mastering the basics which was confidence building and instrumental in ensuring we all had a beautiful piece of neckwear to take home.Heather shared tips from her great experience and knowledge and showed a generosity of spirit which I think it is fair to say made all of us students (some experienced and others not so!) come away with new techniques and challenges to encourage our own creative way. If you get the opportunity to work with her it will not be a leap of faith but a fascinating opportunity.
