Last Friday, October 28, saw the opening of the exhibition Ashore. Sue, Jiri and myself spent almost a week getting Gallery 3 at Art's Complex ready for our opening night.
The first guests arrived at around 6 and the last left well after 9. What an evening! We estimated there were around 75-80 people, all the food disappeared and most of the wine, we made 5 sales and talked ourselves hoarse.
Over the course of the last year or so, lots of people have helped make this exhibition possible.
Special thanks are due to Steve Agnew for all his advice, suggestions, encouragement, practical help and occasional nagging, Nicky Orr for believing in me well before I did, Ruth Nicol for her words of wisdom and Alison Whyte for her PR knowhow.
