Taking the plunge

4/10/2014

This week, I have finally decided it's time to start putting myself out there and applying to bigger exhibitions. I won't go into detail about which one...but suffice to say, it has taken 3 days of my holiday and  a couple of sleepless nights to put together all the components that make up an application.
I hope it will be successful...but even if it isn't, I have learned a lot about the application process and about my relationship with felt. However, the biggest bonus for me was working with Sheila Masson.
She donated her time to thrash out the important points in my proposal, edited my first drafts and then used her considerable talent to photograph my submissions for me.
So, thank you, Sheila! I couldn't have done it without you.
