Got the train from Brunstane (5 minutes walk from the house) across the Forth Rail Bridge to Aberdour. Mission: to meet with Alan Dawson of The Quay Gallery and show him some new felt/driftwood sculptures created specifically for the wonderful space he has made his own right down on the beach. He has restructured an old ice cream kiosk by building upwards. So now it has a mezzanine level, which is his studio. Downstairs is the gallery space.
Happily, he was very excited about my work and took four pieces. He was pleased and I was pleased.....particularly as the sun was shining and the village, the sea and Edinburgh across the water all looked so wonderful.
